The Accu-Cut® SRM™ 200 Rotary Microtome is used to thin section in microns the specimen embedded in the paraffin block. Routinely, most specimens are sectioned at 3-5 microns. To accomplish this procedure, the paraffin block the cassette backing is mounted in a moveable chuck. Chuck movement is up and down past a blade edge and front and back movement in given micron increments. Given this movement, the block is sectioned during each pass across the blade edge. The result is a “ribbon” of successive sections each section being “x” number of microns deeper into the block than the preceeding section. The Accu-Cut® SRM™ 200 is a manually operated rotary microtome Training Mechanical Trimming Function (10 & 50 μm) Specimen Retraction Service-friendly Low maintenance design Quick release specimen clamping Quick locking leve
Improving the most reliable and productive stainer and coverslipper platform in the market. This true walk-away system is further enhanced to produce consistent high quality slides, meeting specific diagnostic requirements. It's barcode reading capabilities enables laboratories to track and trace slides and determine the status real-time. Tissue-Tek Prisma® Plus & Tissue-Tek Film® enables optimized and consistent high quality routine and special staining. With quality controlled and Ready-to-Use H&E staining kits laboratories ensure slide-to-slide consistency. This results in crisp images with clear morphological and nuclear detail. Quality is further enhanced with optimized protocols and specialized Sakura application support. Integrated track & trace capability through slide barcode reading enhances laboratory quality assurance. Determine the status of slides real-time and stay in control.
The Tissue-Tek® DRS™ 2000 Multiple Slide Stainer was specially developed and constructed for laboratories with a large number of specimen requiring a wide range of staining procedures. The Tissue-Tek® DRS™ 2000 will be used primarily for routine staining procedures in Histology and Cytology Laboratories in performing multiple staining procedures randomly or in batch mode. The Tissue-Tek® DRS™ 2000 can also be used in Haematology and Microbiology. The Tissue- Tek® DRS™ 2000 Multiple Slide Stainer is a new concept allowing you to run different staining protocols at the same time and to take appropriate reagent control, as well as having higher throughput, better productivity and space-saving design, by such new features as: Continuous Loading New Agitation system Double-Decker Reagent Platform Flexible Processing Stations Interactive Programming
Process up to 12 specimens at one time Speeds adjust from 200 to 2.500 rpm in 10-rpm increments g-force up to 735 g Programmable processing times: 1 second to 99 minutes 59 seconds, selectable in one-second increments Ability to store up to 30 programs Accommodates 1, 6, 12mL sample chambers Sealable rotor housing with locking lid Transportable rotor housing Rotor housing monitor system alerts when rotor is out of balance Autoclavable rotor housing The Cyto-Tek® 2500 Cytocentrifuge is a bench-top centrifuge for cytological specimens that transfers cells from fluids to glass slides for microscopic examination. Cell dispersion on the glass slide is in a specific, square area, with all cells from the specimen deposited evenly on the slide. Paced acceleration is always on, eliminating operator bias in assessing cell fragility. It will operate at speeds from 200 to 2.500 rpm, adjustable in increments of 10 rpm, for periods from 1 second to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, adjustable in 1 second increments. Three sizes of specimen chambers are available for the unit: 1 mL, 6 mL and 12 mL chambers. The Cyto-Tek® 2500 Cytocentrifuge offers the same high quality results as the previous model provided: high cell recovery with superb preservation of cellular structure. Along with the quality, the redesigned instrument with the removable guard bowl also provides enhanced safety features and user convenience. The Cyto-Tek® 2500 Cytocentrifuge combines user friendliness with high quality results
